KANSAS CITY, MO - A 22-year-old woman claims she was attacked at a Kansas City motel over the weekend. She told police her attacker carved the word "hoe" into her chest.

The woman said she met a man over the phone through a dating service on Saturday. She said the man took her to the Crown Lodge Motel on Blue Parkway where they drank Long Island Iced Teas and she performed oral sex on him. The woman said when the man demanded intercourse she told him no and the two got into an argument. He left and she remained in the room and drank the rest of the liquor and fell asleep.

When she woke a few hours later the woman said another man was in the room and called her a 'hoe.' The victim said she fell asleep again and woke up later with her face and head hurting. Her clothing had been torn and etched into her chest was the word 'hoe.'

The general manager of the motel said he doesn't believe the attack happened in the motel room.

"The room did not appear to have anything out of order in it," said Grover Clawson, general manager. "There was no signs of a struggle. There was no blood. There were no indications at all of any kind of struggle or attack per se that may have occurred on this property."

Police continue to investigate. The woman was unsure if she had been raped. Police hope to determine that through the course of their investigation.
